The 1920’s Mediterranean style villa features panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Bridge, and Marin Headlands.  To compliment the mansions magical light and unique interior architecture, John Stewart Designs employed a neutral palette punctuated by rich jewel tones.   Limestone floors ground the gracious foyer while a soaring coved ceiling encloses it.  The expansive living room showcases a white marble bolection mantle.  Mr. Stewart flanked this with a pair of tufted single armed sofas upholstered in a tan chenille fabric echoing the wall color.  Cobalt Persian rug, pair of green painted fauteuils, and the homeowner’s collection of Fine European paintings balance the taupe shell.  The formal dining room painted a pale shade of sea glass highlights bowed windows.  Michael Taylor’s iconic stone lyre based table centers the room illuminated by a massive crystal chandelier.  In the arched alcove an antique Burmese giltwood standing Buddha surveys the serene space.
